Whether you know it as Testolone or Rad 140, you’re probably already aware of Rad 140 results one way or another. Heck, the guys down the gym have probably been shouting about it for months now.
It doesn’t surprise me how popular Rad-140 is becoming. This is because, guys just like you and I, often need a helping hand to hit muscle goals.
Sure, we start off just fine, working to build muscle, bulk up and go through a cut, but if I told you you could build lean body mass without additional fat?
Well, you’d jump at the chance, wouldn’t you?
And so, I’ve done a little digging to see if Rad-140 really is all it’s cracked up to be. Today we’ll be talking about how to take Rad 140 liquid, Rad 140 results and even potential Testolone side effects.
Let’s get to it, guys.
What is Rad-140 (Testolone)?
Testolone (or Rad 140) is an investigational SARM (selective androgen receptor modulator). Popular in bodybuilding circles, users claim that Rad 140 has muscle-building effects with very little fat gain.
Many consider Rad-140 as a substitute for TRT (testosterone replacement therapy), claiming it has the ability to gain muscle mass while also cutting fat. However, while Rad 140 isn’t illegal to have, it is illegal to sell or be used by professional and amateur league sportsmen.
This unsafe, experimental drug hasn’t strictly been approved for human use, so why are bodybuilders so hung up on this popular SARM?
As a relatively new SARM to the market, further studying and testing is needed to discover the true toxicity of Rad 140.

How does Rad-140 work?
SARMs work by binding to androgen receptors, found in different parts of the body. Usually, these receptors interact with androgens, a group of steroid hormones. When we speak of these steroid hormones, we’re talking about those naturally produced by the body, including:
- Testosterone
- Dihydrotestosterone
- Androstenedione
Typically, SARMs (including Rad 140) and testosterone have similar effects, since they work on the same receptor.
But why has Rad 140 become so popular? When it comes to researchers, SARMs such as Rad-140 have long been a fascination. This is due to the fact that SARMs are selective about where they target – aiming for predominantly muscle and bone tissues, with minimal effects on the prostate and other organs.
According to a small amount of research, SARMs have the potential to target and selectively activate different proteins than testosterone. This means that certain androgen receptors become activated – mainly those in your muscles. As well as this, researchers have reported Rad 140 having a different structure to steroid hormones like testosterone.
This has meant that the pathways which convert T into other hormones (such as estrogen) cannot act on Rad 140.
Much like Ostarine MK 2866, researchers believe there is potential for SARMs to treat muscle-wasting disorders, with fewer side effects than current treatments. However, there is still room for further research in this area.
The potential fewer side effects on the prostate and reproductive organs have made SARMs – such as Rad 140 – a popular go-to for bodybuilders.
Rad 140 results
Although you’ll probably find bodybuilders raving about Rad 140, this potentially impressive SARM has only been lab-tested on animals up to this point.

While undergoing a study on rats, researchers have suggested that Rad-140 could activate certain receptors in injured regions of the brain. They concluded that in the brains of rats when given a RAD 140 dosage, MAPK activity increased.
However, you’re not here to learn about Rad 140 results on rats, are you – so let’s jump into how Rad 140 may help you build muscle.
Rad 140 results range from around 8 to 15 pounds in gains per cycle. While the average sits at around 10 pounds, not all of this is lean tissue as you’re likely to experience some water retention and some fat gain. As well as the extra size, some users of Rad 140 have reported increased strength while taking this type of SARM.
However, in order to keep your gains during a Rad 140 cycle, you’re going to need to head into post cycle therapy (PCT) shortly after. Much like anabolic steroids, SARMs such as Rad-140 suppress your body’s natural testosterone production.
This protocol begins after a cycle of Rad 140, in order to kickstart your body into producing testosterone once more. It’s pretty scary stuff – without PCT, you’ll likely lose all your gains and face side effects while your body struggles to get back to normal.
To summarize, potential Rad 140 results include:
- Increased muscle mass
- Increased fat burn
- Brain cell protection
Aside from helping you get stacked, Rad 140 has been associated with multiple medicinal purposes, including helping to treat certain breast cancers. Doesn’t quite sound like a drug I’d like to play around with personally.
Rad 140 dosage
Compared to other SARMs, Rad-140 is considered a more potent cycle to undergo. Even at a low Rad 140 dosage, users have reported considerable gains.
Typically, a daily Rad 140 dosage sits at around 10 to 20mg a day. If you’re a beginner when it comes to SARMs, opt for 10mg. Don’t be tempted to go over 20mg, however, as Rad-140 is simply too strong for this large a dose.
With a half-life of around 20 hours, most users of Rad-140 dose it once a day to maintain stable levels.
But what does an average Rad-140 cycle look like? Typically, a cycle of Rad 140 lasts between 6 and 8 weeks, followed up with 4 to 6 weeks of post cycle therapy (PCT).
Since testolone is a suppressive SARM, PCT is needed in order to kickstart your body’s natural testosterone production.

Now, since we’ve covered Rad 140 results, it’s about time we take a look at the potential testolone side effects. Like with any SARM, there are always potential side effects to consider.
Rad 140 side effects
So, now we’ve covered what Rad 140 can potentially do in a good way, what about Rad-140 side effects?
Here are just a few testolone side effects you’d rather avoid:
- Headaches
- Aggression
- Nausea
- Hormonal imbalance
- Acne
- Hair loss
And that’s just a few! Of course, like any potent SARM, you’ll experience testosterone suppression. During a Rad 140 cycle, your T levels will increase, however when your cycle finishes, your body’s natural T production will have halted.
Since your testosterone levels will be affected, you may experience side effects associated with a hormone imbalance – and of course, you’ll need PCT to help restore your testosterone.
Alongside this, some Rad 140 side effects also include muscle pain and swelling. Since your muscles are growing at a (somewhat unnatural!) faster rate, tendons and joints can often be unable to keep up with the demand.
Another testolone side effect to add to the list is feeling restless. Since Rad-140 is pretty powerful, you’ll experience a lot of energy during your cycle – which can make getting sleep pretty tricky sometimes.
As well testosterone suppression and having more energy than you know what to do with, other Rad-140 side effects include headache, nausea, acne and blemishes. Thankfully those pesky pimples should disappear after your Rad 140 dosage has stopped.
While we’ve covered it already, one of the biggest concerns with SARMs is their impact on your body’s natural testosterone production. Without PCT, you’re likely to lose your gains, making your cycle totally pointless.
Is Rad-140 worth it?
With little human studies, it’s not totally clear how Rad 140 may impact your body long term. Going by user experiences so far, there are a lot of gains to be had, but not without some nasty side effects. Plus, of course, the need for PCT after your Rad-140 cycle.
Without PCT, your body could take weeks, if not months to recover after your natural testosterone production has been suppressed.

However, many users brag about Rad 140’s potential benefits, with some even claiming that Rad-140 improves sleep and sexual performance – although, no studies back this up.
The trouble is, with little research and knowledge on the long term side effects of Rad 140, this SARM could be potentially pretty dangerous. As the strongest SARM around at the moment, packing on size fast with this untested drug could be detrimental to your overall health.
So what’s the alternative?
